Sertoma is honored to announce that the following individuals have been elected to the International Board of Directors. We are grateful for their commitment to serve and look forward to collaborating with them throughout their terms. They will officially join the board, along with newly appointed International Treasurer Rich Garipoli, Jr., effective July 1, 2025.

A total of 638 valid ballots were cast in the 2025 election this spring. We extend our sincere thanks to the outstanding candidates who participated in the election: Christopher Huether (Vice President), Brendyn Richards (Great Plains Regional Director), and Joe Schneider (Vice President). Each of these individuals exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated Sertoman, and we look forward to finding meaningful ways to continue to engage their passion for Service to Mankind throughout all levels of the organization.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our departing board members—President Bea Gabany, Treasurer Stuart Fujiyama, Great Plains Regional Director Huether and Mountain West Regional Director David Oppenheim—for their dedicated service over the past several years. Their leadership, hard work and unwavering commitment have played a vital role in advancing Sertoma’s mission, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions.
We are also pleased to announce that the membership has overwhelmingly approved—by a margin of 88.1%—the merger between Sertoma International and Hearing Charities of America. We have already begun working with legal counsel to complete the formal process by the end of the fiscal year on June 30. Additional efforts, including branding, communications, and other integration activities, will continue throughout the summer.
We once again want to sincerely thank everyone who participated in this year’s election process. Your engagement and dedication help strengthen our organization and ensure its continued success.
