Curated Tools and Trainings (Part 3): Event Planning

2020 was the year that events stopped and our Sertoma clubs were no exception. From regularly scheduled club meetings to beloved annual fundraisers to our national convention, the way that we planned and held meetings had to change. Many clubs were able to pivot and take things online, while others had to hold limited in-person gatherings or postpone altogether.

Now, as we look forward to the year ahead, many clubs are adapting once again as they return to a new version of “business as usual.” We shared some of our favorite tips for resuming in-person meetings last year, and much of our advice remains the same. Above all else, however, we urge our clubs to maintain safe meeting practices and to adhere to all recommended and required federal, state and local guidelines.
