I know many clubs are starting to plan their fundraising efforts for 2021. With COVID still around, virtual fundraising is still a necessity in 2021. Back in April, I wrote a blogpost with several ideas for easy-to-do virtual fundraisers. I was planning on doing an updated blog post giving you a few new ideas, but earlier this week, I got a blogpost emailed to me with new ideas for virtual fundraisers. Virtual fundraising does not have to be intimidating. Please do not think to yourself, “I am not a ‘techie’ person, so I could never set up a virtual fundraiser.” The companies that support these fundraising platforms have good technical support to help you through the process. Some of these fundraisers are so easy you may want to consider keeping them as yearly fundraisers.
Please don’t let COVID discourage you from fundraising in 2021. There are organizations across the country hosting virtual wine tastings, t-shirt sales, cooking classes, and concerts. Look at the lists and plan a fundraiser for your club today!
