Your Round-Up of New Membership Benefits

By Brandi McGrath Kong, Director of Member Services

As your national headquarters, we are here to offer you the resources, education, and programs your club needs to stay relevant and successful. In today’s roundup, we will share a handful of our newest offerings sure to benefit your club if you wish to utilize them.

The Sertoma Club Grant Program was established this year to help further clubs’ efforts to support community charitable programs and organizations. Grants range from $500 to $2,000. Deadline to apply is Nov. 1.

The Sertoma Speakers Bureau directory was created to help clubs find member speakers on a myriad of topics. Participation is on a voluntary basis.

The National Service Project returns to give clubs another chance to making hearing accessible in their communities. For 2022, clubs can purchase a Portable InfoLoop to donate to a local library during Better Hearing and Speech Month in May.

The newly updated Marketing Toolkit provides ready-made images that your club can use on social media, printed flyers or for other purposes to promote your club and Sertoma membership. Additional resources will be added to this resource in the coming weeks.

The Sertoma Article Library supplies Sertoma clubs with evergreen article templates that can be customized with club information. These articles are primarily meant to be used to promote a club in local media but may also compliment additional resources within a club’s website or newsletter.
