#MemberMonday: Four Reasons to Attend National Conference

Sertoma’s 2022 National Conference is just around the corner. Here are five reasons to join us in Denver on September 30 and October 1: 

Learn from other clubs! The #1 piece of feedback we got after last year’s national convention was that our members wanted more opportunities to share ideas and learn from each other. We designed this year’s education with this very thought in mind. We’ll also have keynote speaker Redmond Ramosready to motivate us during these challenging and ever-changing times.
 

  1. Celebrate the cool things our members are doing! Coming together at the National Conference provides us with the opportunity to enjoy the achievements of our members. Join us during the Annual Banquet Dinner when we pay tribute to the past two years’ National Sertoman of the Year, National Service to Mankind and Lifetime Service Award recipients and recognize our new board for the 2022-2023 year. 
     
  2. Have fun with your fellow Sertomans! Our members love hanging out with each other and they love a theme party. We’ll bring both together in this year’s “A Night at the Movies” Welcome Party. Whether you dress in the style of Old Hollywood or come as your favorite movie character, we look forward to enjoying a night of light appetizers, drinks, conversation and fun! Hotel guests can also attend a complimentary evening managers reception with beer, wine and other select offerings.
     
  3. Meet your new leaders! Sertoma is excited to welcome 2022-2023 President Gretchen Nielsen and new Executive Director Jason Camis to this year’s National Conference. Ask them a question during the annual Town Hall Meeting or meet them in the hallways between sessions.
     
  4. Enjoy all the sights that Denver has to offer! There is so much to see and do in the Mile High City, and we have curated these lists to help you plan your trip.
