Each spring, the Gleneagle Sertoma Club of Colorado Springs, Colo., hosts the renowned Spirits of Spring Wine & Food Tasting Gala, showcasing the city's finest offerings. Now in its 21st year, this year’s event raised approximately $25,000 in support of two beloved causes: HEARS of El Paso County and the club’s scholarship program.
Held at the elegant Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs, the gala welcomed over 200 guests who enjoyed a diverse menu from nine local restaurants and beverages from ten area providers. The evening also featured a silent auction with over 100 items and an energetic and entertaining eight-lot live auction for attendees to bid on.
This successful event was made possible by numerous sponsors, with Helping Hands Colorado Springs serving as the prestigious platinum sponsor. Details on all sponsors can be found on the event’s website.
Since June 1986, the Gleneagle Sertoma Club has dedicated itself to serving the Colorado Springs community through initiatives like supporting Sertoma Affiliate HEARS, scholarships, and partnering with Mary’s Home, which provides support to single mothers. They also donate hearing devices and portable loops to individuals and organizations in need. The club’s other flagship events include the National Heritage Essay Contest and the Pikes Peak Soap Box Derby.
