What we do

One in six people experience some degree of hearing loss over his or her lifetime. That’s 50 million people, and the number is rising. Our passion is to create a world where everyone who chooses can hear us. And our passion will compel us to raise awareness of our cause, educate those willing to understand, and support those whose lives can be improved through better hearing health.

A SOUND INVESTMENT	CELEBRATE SOUND®	SAFEEARS!®
Making the sounds through public address and amplified systems in public facilities readily accessible to those that use hearing assistive devices.	CELEBRATE SOUND® is our premiere turnkey national fund- and awareness-raising event that helps to promote hearing health.	SAFEEars!® Kids are Listening (through sixth grade) and Listen Up ( sixth - eighth grade) activities help young people develop an awareness of hearing loss.
ADOPT-AN-AGENCY	SCHOLARSHIPS	SERTEEN & COLLEGIATE
Sertoma Affiliates receive valuable benefits including eligibility to apply for grants and receive educational materials.	Deaf or hard of hearing students and those accepted into hearing-focused careers are encouraged to apply for one of the many scholarships available.	Youth programs for students who are interested in the world around them and are motivated to improve their world through service to mankind.
CLUB GRANT PROGRAM	AMPLIFIED HEARING	SERTOMA CLUB NATURAL DISASTER FUND
The Sertoma Club Grant Program was established in 2021 to help further clubs’ efforts to support community charitable programs and organizations.	Sertoma is proud to partner with the  Hearing Chartities of America to provide our clubs with personal sound amplifiers through the Amplified Hearing program.	Available exclusively to active Sertoma clubs, this program allows clubs whose fundraisers have been directly impacted by natural disasters to apply for grants of up to $2,500.
