Every great meal is better when it’s shared. The same is true for great ideas.
The Sertoma Sharing Table was a concept developed by International President Tim Romero, who envisioned an online place where clubs and members could pull up a chair and feast on a bounty of tips, ideas and best practices designed to help Sertoma clubs thrive.
Whether you’re looking for ways to make your club more efficient, recruit new members and volunteers, strengthen your community impact or simply make your club the best it can be, Romero wanted to use the Sharing Table to help serve up fresh ideas.
Each week, the Sharing Table highlights something new in the Sertoma Facebook group. Past topics have included pre-conference coverage, payment processing for nonprofits, and utilizing the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). From volunteer recruitment to technology, there’s always room for another dish on the table.
But the best recipes come from Sertomans themselves! What tips, tricks or best practices have worked for your club? We want to hear them.
Send us your most delectable ideas, success stories and helpful resources to bmcgrathkong@sertoma.org. The more dishes we receive, the bigger the buffet we can offer our clubs and members. And if there’s a topic you’d like to see featured at the Sharing Table, we want to know that too.
So, pull up a chair, bring your appetite for ideas and let’s learn from one another.
