However, the good news is that hearing aids can help children with hearing loss to hear clearly and participate fully in daily activities. Children's Hearing Aid Program 

The Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida is proud to announce that it has been awarded the contract to manage Florida's Children's Hearing Aid Program. This program provides much-needed financial relief to families with children ages 0-18 in need of hearing aids. The program covers the cost for those whose health insurance does not provide hearing aids, whose household income is not higher than 400% of the federal poverty guidelines, and who are not eligible for Florida Medicaid and/or the state’s children's health insurance program.  

The Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida was established by the West Pasco Sertoma Club in order to build a speech and hearing clinic for children in Pasco County, Florida. With the success of this program, the foundation has expanded to provide even more assistance to children and families in the state.
